Team Building Activities
Please click HERE for a list of available team building activities. You will also find a short brief of equipment used in these activities.
We don't give a full brief of our activities online but if you require any further details as to what skills can be learnt from participation or require further information then please get in touch.
Teambuilding Exercises
As all of our activities are tailor-made to meet your requirements we need certain information from yourself in order to supply a quote.
Such as:
•What are the average ages of your attendees?
•How many participants would you like to be involved?
•Gender ratio (Numbers of Males & Numbers of Females participating)
•Where do you want the exercises held?
What to consider?
When reviewing activities consider what you want the participants to achieve from their inclusion. This will help us to deliver activities that meet your needs.
Ask yourself:
•Is it purely for fun?
•Are there certain areas of development for individuals that need to be focused on?
•Is it team work, communication or leadership development?
If the focus is on individual or team building then we may require more in-depth information of participants in order to provide activities that meet your brief. (Questionnaire for personality types and expectations can be used)
Age criteria
The majority of these exercises are focused on development for ages 10 and upwards. Younger children can be involved in some of the exercises but this would be more pair work rather than working in teams.
We do have lots of other activities and games specifically for young people that incorporate team building, so please contact us if it’s solely for under 10’s.
Minimum participation numbers
The minimum group size is approximately 6. This is to make the exercises productive and cost effective for you.
Maximum participation numbers
Whilst there are no specific maximum participation numbers, there are some exercises that work better within a certain participation level. If you wish for a large group to be accommodated then please contact us to discuss what we can provide for you.
Staff Ratio
This depends largely on the exercise but we generally work on the basis of 1:6. (1 Staff member to 6 participants) This can alter depending on the ages and the exercises being undertaken.
Facilities
We can use indoor facilities but the format of some activities may suffer in the wrong place. If you have a facility you would like us to use we can check it in advance and adapt activities to suit the space available.
Larger green spaces as well as smaller areas/rooms are ideal for majority of activities.
Activity times
Times vary depending on the numbers of participants and the activities their involved in, however half/full day activities can be tailored to meet your requirements. Once we have received your team building brief we can draft a plan to determine which activities we think best suit your needs.
Outcomes from Activities
There are a number of tangible outcomes a participant can expect to achieve from attendance in our activities, some of these include; team work, co-operation & communication skills, increased confidence, leadership & problem solving skills.
